Search engine optimization is designed to apply these principles to improve search rankings. The difference between black hat and white hat SEO is related to the techniques used to apply these principles.

Black Hat SEO

In search engine optimization (SEO) terminology, Black Hat SEO refers to the use of aggressive SEO strategies, technologies, technologies and strategies that focus only on search engines rather than human audiences and often do not adhere to search engine guidelines.

Some examples of Black Hat SEO technology include keyword padding, invisible text, door pages, adding unrelated keywords to page content, or page exchange.

Black Hat SEO technology includes:

  • Keyword Stuffing: Spamdexing, which is a practice of repeating unrelated phrases to manipulate the relevance or prominence of resources indexed by search engines.
  • Keyword sup – Includes a long list of keywords packaged, but not formatted correctly.

  • Access pages – This is a fake page that users will never see. This applies only to search engine spiders to trick them into indexing sites higher.
  • Invisible iFrame– User-visible pages do not have to belong to the company hosting the page. These are used to download software to the user’s computer in the background without the user’s knowledge.

Grey Hat SEO

Gray Hat SEO is a more risky SEO practice than White Hat SEO, but it may or may not cause your site to be banned by search engines and their associated sites. In general, the Gray Hat SEO practice does not fall into the Black Hat and White Hat categories because the terms of service for this issue are not clear.

Grey hat SEO is hard to define. In the words of SEO consultant John Andrews, the “grey hat” SEO is not something between a black hat and a white hat, but “a strategy/technology practice that is still poorly defined by public material published by Google, and reasonable people can contrast with the spirit of google’s published guidelines.
The difference between black hat and white hat SEO is related to the specific technology used when trying to improve the search engine ranking of websites or pages.
